The Problem
The Problem
Too many neurodivergent people grow up without understanding themselves.
Autistic, ADHD and otherwise neurodivergent people can spend years trying to function within environments that don’t recognise or accommodate the way they experience the world.
Without the right understanding and support, this can contribute to:
● Overwhelm and burnout
● Masking
● Anxiety and emotional distress
● Sensory overload
● Difficulties with executive functioning
● Low confidence and self-esteem
● Relationship and communication difficulties
● Problems within education or employment
● Social isolation
● Feeling different without understanding why
● Losing connection with identity, strengths and purpose
Often, people are taught how to cope with symptoms before they are helped to understand themselves.
We want to change that.
Our Approach
Understanding comes first.
Neuro-Divergent UK takes a whole-person approach.
Rather than trying to make neurodivergent people function more like neurotypical people, we help individuals discover how they function best.
Our work brings together:
Self-understanding • Nervous-system regulation • Emotional literacy • Sensory awareness • Executive functioning • Communication • Relationships • Confidence • Strengths • Purpose • Education • Employment • Entrepreneurship
The goal isn’t to change who you are.
The goal is to give you the understanding, tools, environment and support you need to build a life that works with your brain rather than constantly against it.
